Message As it heats up it expands, and that is causing the difference in pedal positions.

I had a similar problem, and it turned out the slave cylinder was sucking air back into the line. It didn't drip, so I did not suspect a leak. After replacing the slave cylinder, bleeding was simple.

I am not saying its the slave, but rather any leak, loose fitting, etc., can suck air INTO the line at that point. gordo
